Announcement
Somebody Who Cares Destiny Empowerment Center (SBWCDEC) is proud to announce that we have been awarded funding through the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) 2026 Out-of-School Time (OST) Grant.
This funding will support the implementation of The Choice Project: Stop • Think • Talk It Out, a creative, trauma-informed program designed to empower youth through mentorship, life skills, and media arts education during both the school-year and summer OST sessions.
We are grateful for this investment in our mission to empower youth, families, and communities and to provide safe, engaging, and impactful learning experiences that promote positive decision-making and long-term success.
